Dr. Shalini Srivastava is Head, Department of English, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Government Girls’ P.G. College, Aliganj, Lucknow. She did her Post-graduation in English Literature in 1997 from the University of Lucknow, Lucknow and qualified UGC-NET in 1998. She completed her PH.D from Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun. Her academic career covers a long tenure in which she has handled various administrative and literary assignments. However, teaching is her first and foremost passion. Indian English Literature, especially, women writers have always been her area of study and interest. Her research papers have been published in various national as well as international journals. A distinguished academician with twenty seven years of exemplary teaching experience and fifteen years dedicated to impactful research. She has organized and coordinated the inaugral and valedictory sessions of a large number of national and international seminars along with chairing technical sessions and delivering invited lectures. She has also acted as co-ordinator of many cultural and inter-collegiate literary and cultural fests at the College. Known for her dynamic personality and passion for education, Dr. Srivastava excels as a research supervisor, guiding numerous students to academic success. Her administrative prowess is evident through her leadership roles, including heading the cultural committee, admission committee and the entrance examination committee. Dr. Srivastava's commitment to fostering a vibrant academic environment and her dedication to both teaching and research make her a respected and influential figure in the academic community.
